The HG dual pump is a hydraulic pump widely used in industrial and engineering fields, featuring high efficiency, low noise, and high reliability. Below is an overview of the structure and working principle of the HG dual pump.

I. Structure

The HG dual pump mainly consists of two single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pumps driven by a common shaft. The suction and discharge ports of the two pumps are located on opposite sides and are connected through internal flow passages. The external structure of the dual pump mainly comprises the pump body, pump cover, shaft, bearing housing, sealing rings, impellers, shaft sleeves, and inlet/outlet pipes.

II. Working Principle

The working principle of the HG dual pump is similar to that of a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump. The difference is that the two pumps in the dual pump are connected in series via a common shaft, which drives both pumps to operate simultaneously. Specifically, when the motor drives the common shaft to rotate, the impellers of both centrifugal pumps rotate at the same time. On the suction side, the negative pressure generated by the rotating impellers draws the liquid into the pump, which is then directed through the internal flow passages into the pump on the discharge side. On the discharge side, the pressure generated by the rotating impellers forces the liquid out of the pump.

Insufficient Flow Rate: If the flow rate is inadequate, it may be due to impeller wear or blockage. Check the impellers for wear or blockages and replace or clean them promptly.

Excessive Noise: If the noise level is too high, it may be caused by loose or damaged impellers. Check the impellers for looseness or damage, and tighten or replace them as necessary.

Fluid Leakage: If there is severe fluid leakage, it may be due to worn or damaged sealing rings. Inspect the sealing rings for wear or damage and replace them promptly.

Bearing Damage: If the bearings are damaged, it may be caused by poor bearing quality or improper installation. Check the bearings for damage or improper installation, and replace or adjust them accordingly.
